The Unicorn Frappuccino Has The Worst Ingredients Ever
The Unicorn Frappuccino is probably one of the most popular Starbucks drinks in the past couple years. It’s really pretty from the outset, but is full of dangerous additives such carrageenan (causes cancer and intestinal inflammation) and appalling amounts of sugar! It has 59 grams of added sugar in a grande size and 76 grams in a venti size. These high levels of sugar can only make sense if you consider that an average adult shouldn’t consume more than 36 grams of sugar in a day. As for sugar, we all know its adverse effects: diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, to mention a few.
