“Pequod” Was Supposed to be the Original Name

Before settling on the name Starbucks, the founders toyed with the idea of calling their company, Pequod. This was the name of a whaling ship from the classic book, Moby-Dick. Fortunately, they settled on Starbucks, which happens to be Pequod’s chief mate. We wonder who would dare drink a cup of Pequod coffee.

That’s bullshit that you can’t sell sassafras but they can put this shit in coffee and it’s okay why the hell don’t they real eagle-eyes sassafras if they made it illegal to put in products because of its carcinogen properties and it’s been a healthy healthy supplement for thousands of years oh by the way Starbucks is known for their Nazi era ties they hate Jewish people they hate Muslims and they hate Christians anybody who’s tied to any religion they hate I can approve this
