8. Soy Protein
Health experts are divided on soy protein. Some preliminary studies show that soy protein can be a healthy substitute for meat and dairy proteins. We aren’t refuting all of these preliminary studies. All we’re saying is that soy protein has Isoflavones, which when consumed in large quantities, can increase cancer risks. Don’t eat an excess of soy and instead add soy protein to a balanced diet that might include small amounts of meat, legumes, eggs, or dairy.
