10. Fast Food

The world is in love with fast food products, but the truth is; they are never good for your health. Almost all these foods contain harmful additives, added absurd amounts of trans-fats, salt, sugar, calories, and even stranger ingredients that only do harm to your body and health.

Your body is the end result of what you consume. When you eat healthily, you can reduce the health risks associated with diabetes, cancer and heart disease. In the short term, you feel better, more awake, more alert, and stronger. It all starts by eating smart and avoiding these nasty foods like the plague!

    However, you made a mistake on #4: You wrote, “Vegetable oil contains unsaturated fats and Omega 3 fatty acids, which are linked to heart attacks” You must have meant to write Omega 6, not omega 3. By the way, it’s not just having omega 6, but rather having too much of it. Some omega 6 is necessary for normal physiological function, but we typically get way too much of it and not enough of the Omega 3’s.

    I’d also add to this list with
    -diet sodas
    -gluten free junk foods and other “health halo” foods
    -microwavable ramen noodle packs
