10 Before & After Photos of Couples Who Fought the Flab

6. Angela & Willie

One simple yet tough decision to lose weight changed Angela and her partner Willie’s life forever. Recalling the struggles of her weight loss journey, Angela says that there were plenty of obstacles and that burning extra fat around the belly, buttocks and arms was extremely difficult. But at no point did this determined couple feel like giving up and there was no looking back. Sharing feelings of frustration, celebration and hope instilled this pair with motivation and kept them from giving up on each other and themselves. Over time they lost around 500 pounds and today, after five years, Angela and Willie pose happily for pictures while sporting fit figures that would make you green with envy.

5. Jonathan & Lisa

When Lisa met John, she was at her heaviest. He, on the other hand, was already dealing with his own weight loss issues, and had successfully lost about 75 pounds. Their common fitness goals brought them closer and closer, and gradually, he became her inspiration for getting healthy. Both kept each other updated about their recent achievements and even exchanged words of consolation in times of failure. They would even celebrate each pound lost with a quick power walk or a green smoothie. Today, John and Lisa are definitely fitter and slimmer, but they both have sagging skin, one of the consequences of obesity and weight loss. The good news is that they are considering the option of tummy tucks and, most importantly, are feeling more optimistic than ever about their future!
