Avoid Alcohol and Cigarettes
Smoking cigarettes are known to have adverse effects, including dehydration. It dries up the lining of your throat and signals your brain to suppress thirst; hence you do not feel like drinking water, even though it’s important for your body. On the same note, alcohol is a diuretic substance that dehydrates both the cell linings of your throat and stomach. Alcohol also distresses the liver cells, which can seriously increase the negative effects of dehydration.
