8. Hip Rotation

Hip rotation is a great exercise for people with joint problems or osteoporosis. Performing this exercise regularly would also prevent general deconditioning of bones.

How do you perform this exercise?

Stand tall keeping your back straight. Lift any one of your legs to form an angle of 90 degrees; keep your knee, shoulder, and hip properly aligned when doing so. Now, start rotating your hip slowly. Keep the hips in a neutral position when performing the action. Hold every position during the rotation for 3 to 5 seconds. Perform ten repetitions of the exercise on each leg. You could perform this on your hands and knees as well.
