7. Bird Dog
There are significant similarities between bird dog and dead bug; to be more precise bird dog is the reverse of the dead bug. Bird dog would engage and strengthen your lower back, glutes, and core and challenges the stabilizer muscles while doing so.
How to perform the exercise?
Begin with your knees and hands on the ground; your palms should be under the shoulders, while your knees should be under the hips. Now, extend the right arm toward your front and left leg toward your back simultaneously. Hold the position for 5 seconds and release. Next, repeat the exercise with your left arm and right leg. Perform five to ten repetitions on each side.
