22. Scapula Pinches

Performing scapula pinches regularly would prevent your shoulders from drooping as a part of the aging process. You will also experience significant improvement in your shoulder mobility.

How do you perform this exercise?

You can perform this exercise both in a seated position and standing tall; the choice is yours. Keep your shoulders down when starting the exercise. Now, begin pinching your shoulder blades together. Stay in this pinched position for five to ten seconds; release and repeat. Start with five repetitions of the exercise; then, gradually increase the number of repetitions to ten.
